Amy Kopelman

Amy Kopelman is the founder of Pathlitics and the parent of a teenager who learns differently.

When Amy began the college search process a few years ago, she got her first glimpse of how complex the process would be for her daughter. The available resources didn’t begin to explain the differences between colleges and their support programs, and stigma often prevents these conversations from occurring. Finding the right college for a student with learning differences means hundreds of hours combing through websites, cold-calling disability offices, and hoping to track down college students with learning differences willing to share their honest experiences. She decided other parents shouldn't have to do that.

So she did it- once, for all of them, leveraging her years of building products to meet real needs.

After thousands of hours interviewing parents, students, and counselors, Amy built what didn't exist: a platform anchored by verified reviews from over 500 college students who learn differently, covering everything families actually need to know- campus culture, sense of belonging, relationships with professors, academics, and the reality of disability services and accommodations.

Jessica Falkenthal

Jessica Falkenthal is a mentor to several college students who learn differently and the Head of Marketing at Pathlitics, the only platform where families can read verified reviews of college disability support services written by students who've used them.

She knows this space from multiple angles. Jessica worked in admissions at the Kelley School of Business and has seen the college search process from the inside. She also has ADHD and spent her own college years avoiding the disability accommodations she was entitled to — held back by internalized stigma that told her needing support meant she couldn't cut it. She came out the other side, but not without wishing she'd had honest guidance and a community of near-peers to show her that accommodations aren't a workaround. They're the point.
